Fruit Smoothie Bowl

Have you ever seen those smoothie bowls that are honestly just too pretty to eat? I was so excited when I finally found some time to experiment with making a bowl of my own to share with you all.

It’s so simple and refreshing that I can’t rage enough about it. So, if you love smoothies as much as I do, I can guarantee that you’ll be in for a treat!

These bowls are low in calories, packed with healthy nutrients and vitamin C. The best part is that it’s super quick and easy to make. The fun comes when you can be creative and turn your bowl into a beautiful work of art.

Tip: Add some greek yogurt if you want your consistency to be thicker. It will also help with the presentation because your fruits won’t sink in as easily (mine did).

  1. 4 blueberries
  2. 2 strawberries (halves)
  3. 1/2 banana
Instructions
  1. Blend the following ingredients on high: almond milk, banana, fresh mixed berries, until smooth.
  2. Pour your smoothie base in a bowl and top off with your favorite fresh fruits!

Notes
  1. I tried adding ice to make the consistency thicker but that did not work. Add nonfat Greek yogurt instead when blending all ingredients for a thicker base!
