You all know that I LOVE yoga, and over the past few years, yoga has become an incredibly popular form of exercise. It may not burn as many calories as HIIT or going for a run, but the benefits it can have on both the mind and body have made it one of the world’s most practiced types of exercise.

If you’ve never tried yoga before, I urge you to give it a try. It might seem a little daunting – all those poses and stretches, but it’s really not. Don’t worry about what the downward dog is, the meaning of namaste or how to do the lotus position, instead focus on the benefits of yoga.
